Remember this little guy? He helped me out with a little project about a month ago and this past week I took his one year photos. I am in love with almost every image from this session, so here are just a few:

As you can see, he LOVED the cake:)!

I met up with this cute family last week. It was so nice to see them again! Poor little Ian wasn’t feeling the greatest, so it was a quick session, but I think we still got some great shots:)

Oh those curls! I just LOVE them!

A little out take from the session….it just made me smile!

Emi and I got together again to finish up her senior pictures. We did part of her session back in June and finished up with some pictures in a wheat field, a few shots with her sister, and a few at another new location. Emi is a natural in front of the camera! I had a difficult time choosing images for this post because there were so many great shots:)!

Jayce and I met up a week ago to take his senior photos. He was really excited to include his guitar in the pictures. He even played some during the shoot and I have to say, he was quite good!

Remember this little guy? He has been on this blog before! I just love him…look at how sweet he is! Every time I see him, he is full of smiles and he loves to clap for me:)

I had to have him try one of my new hats; he wasn’t too into it, but he did keep it on for a few shots.

He is SO close to crawling, I can’t wait!

A couple weeks ago I met up with my friend Megan in Fargo to talk about photography and shoot together. It was so much fun to spend the day with Megan talking about photography; she has been a big help to me!
Since we were planning to shoot together, we needed some models, so I asked our friends Clint and Nancy to bring their kiddos out for us to photograph. Jacob is a super fun four year old! Ellie is so sweet! She is nine months and in the “stranger danger” phase and just learning to walk. She was on the go and kept a very close eye on her Daddy! Thanks again Clint and Nancy for coming out in the heat! Hope you enjoy the photos!

I just LOVE her blue eyes!

Here are some pictures from a recent photo shoot I did/tried to do with Elias. First let me say, taking pictures of my own child is hard! I have tons of pictures of him doing daily things, but I don’t take him out too often to do a shoot anymore. We were in Grand Forks for the weekend with my parents and it was a beautiful evening, so I decided to take him out and he lasted about 7 minutes, but here is what I got and I think he is pretty sweet anyway!

This is the face he makes when he says, “You’ve GOT to be kidding me!” I don’t even remember what I was joking with him about:)

For anyone who knows my bother Daniel, I think the picture on the left looks an awful lot like him (only the blonde version maybe:))! When I told Elias that he looked like Daniel, he got the BIGGEST smile on his face, after all, Uncle Daniel is his idol!

Right about here the complaining began!

Still trying to negotiate leaving and going to get ice cream! He is quite the little negotiator:)

Ending the session on a happy note!

We are having a family session this fall as well as some pictures of Elias by Megan Milbradt of Everyday Art Photography, a fabulous photographer in the Bismark, ND area and I CANNOT wait! I haven’t had professional pictures of Elias taken since he was a baby and we have never had a family photo.
Belle was a treat to photograph! She has such a fun little personality. She is the same age as my son Elias and I always love to meet other children his age. Belle loved to talk about Lady and the Tramp (a favorite at our house at the moment as well, so I could really “talk the talk”:)) , she was quick to demonstrate how she is learning to do cart wheels and somersaults, and loved to have me watch how fast she could run! I had a great time photographing Belle; hope you enjoy the pictures!
I even caught a rainbow in the picture on the left.

Just as we were finishing up, Belle’s mom asked if I could just take a few shots of them together and I love this! Let this be a reminder to me to take pictures with Elias….I am always on the wrong side of the camera!

This month I have several senior sessions scheduled and Ben was the first guy of the season. I had a great time photographing him, he is so laid back and relaxed. Our session started out in his yard, which is beautiful, and then we headed to a few locations around town. It rained here the entire day, right up to about two hours before his session, but it turned into a beautiful evening!

Ben’s brothers joined him for a few shots!

This little guy is 10 months old…he is SO cute! He may have the bluest eyes I have ever seen!

He sure kept a close eye on his Mom and Dad the whole time!

I couldn’t decide which one of these to blog, so here are a few! I adore these images!

This one may just be my favorite!
