Here he is again….one of my favorite babies is turning one next week. In honor of his upcoming birthday we had to do a cake smash session! Kelton loved this….the whole time he was saying “YUM YUM YUM YUM!”.

OK, I know you have heard this before, but isn’t he just the CUTEST! Henry and his mom were in town visiting Grandma and Grandpa and set up a session for Henry’s one year photos while they were here! I had such a fun time with this shoot! Who wouldn’t want to spend a little time photographing a handsome, happy one year old in a suit:)

…and I am good with it now! Alex was gone last weekend and it was a beautiful evening, so Elias and I went out to “the forest” to do some exploring and a short photos session. Well, he didn’t know about the photo session:) When I pulled out my camera, he said, “We don’t need that for our adventure.” I told him I didn’t have any pictures of him when he was four and then he was ok with it. I don’t know what I will do the next time and I already have a shoot in mind, so I better think of something!

About a month ago, I had the opportunity to hang out with Gabe and Carin Black and photograph a BEAUTIFUL outdoor wedding. Gabe and Carin are a fabulous husband/wife photographer team from my hometown. I have had the privilege of getting to know them over the past year and admire their wedding photography, so I asked them if I could “follow” them while they shot a wedding.
Kavan and Jenni had an awesome fall day for an outdoor wedding. Everything about this day was perfect! Ok, on to the photos!
Jenni had the greatest style (down to every last detail) and was such a GORGEOUS bride!

You are probably wondering where all the pictures of cute little Boston are. He was teething and not feeling well, so he made it through the family shots and was DONE:) I am catching up with him in a few weeks again, so I will post then!
I have gone back and forth on whether or not to use my business blog as my personal blog too. Elias has actually had a blog since he was born. I have not updated it since June 18th because photography has been keeping me busy. I have hundreds of pictures I have done nothing with…a winter project for sure! Anyway, I figured, what the heck, maybe I will share on here once and a while too:)
I have to say, I am having a hard time with this birthday! I turned 30 a couple months ago and didn’t feel bad about that at all, but my baby turning four, that is another story!
This year he wanted to have a Batman/Superhero party, so that is what we did!

Elias has been wanting to get a pinata for awhile and was so excited to see it hanging in the garage for his party!
