This was another fun session! Aren’t these two girls gorgeous? These two sisters just posed away as we explored the back 18 on a golf cart on one of the last warm evenings this fall.

I always love photographing my nieces! While we were visiting a month ago we went out for a quick shoot and got some great shots. Here are a few favorites:)
Aren’t these three girls beautiful! They each have such different personalities and are each wonderful in their own way!

We really did get some great family shots, but I thought we would save them for their Christmas card. I love this!

This was such a fun session! This family was so nice to work with and we had another gorgeous evening. I have been photographing a lot of young families, so this session was a fun change of pace. During the session, I asked their mom if she had to bribe them with anything, she said, “Just food!”. They were looking forward to going out to eat after the session:) Thanks for spending a bit of your evening with me.

This family contacted me a few months back about doing a session in their backyard when their new puppy arrived. This is the third corgi they have had since they have been married and this is an extra special one:) The shoot was just as much about the puppy as the rest of the family, it was fun to see how much they adored her. Thanks for the fun shoot and I hope you enjoy a few of the photos!

I meet up with this family at a park near Greenbush, MN. We lucked out with a beautiful evening and they even drove to their session in this 1948 Ford truck, which was lots of fun to use in the photos!

These kids had lots of spunk and such fun little personalities!

Every mom should have a photo like this:)

This is another family I met up with while we were back visiting in Williston. We met up at my grandparents barn and the kids had a great time exploring! Thanks for such a fun shoot!
We started out with the kiddos all dressed up in their new Christmas outfits, if I remember right they were from their Grandma. Aren’t they darling?!

I love this picture, she was laughing so hard:)

Look at this beautiful family!

You are probably wondering where all the pictures of cute little Boston are. He was teething and not feeling well, so he made it through the family shots and was DONE:) I am catching up with him in a few weeks again, so I will post then!
I have gone back and forth on whether or not to use my business blog as my personal blog too. Elias has actually had a blog since he was born. I have not updated it since June 18th because photography has been keeping me busy. I have hundreds of pictures I have done nothing with…a winter project for sure! Anyway, I figured, what the heck, maybe I will share on here once and a while too:)
I have to say, I am having a hard time with this birthday! I turned 30 a couple months ago and didn’t feel bad about that at all, but my baby turning four, that is another story!
This year he wanted to have a Batman/Superhero party, so that is what we did!
Here is a picture of the invite:

Anna, Daniel, and Megan came dressed in costume to celebrate! Elias was more than thrilled that Megan was going to be his “kick side”!
Elias has been wanting to get a pinata for awhile and was so excited to see it hanging in the garage for his party!

The boys all had a great time and they loved wearing their “super capes”!
Now for a flashback:) Here is Elias the day he was born:
And here is he now:

Elias, four years ago today, I was in labor and about experience the greatest JOY of my life…being your mom! I LOVE you to the moon and back sweet baby boy, I mean BIG boy!
I had the chance to meet up with this beautiful family while we were back in Williston visiting family a week ago. We lucked out with a perfect fall evening and got lots of great shots. I hope you enjoy the photos!

Last weekend, my family and I traveled to Bismarck, ND to meet up with an amazing photographer and her family. Megan and I met though a mutual friend on face book a little over a year ago. Over the past year, she has helped me grow as a photographer and we have become friends. We have had the opportunity to meet up a few times and it is always fun! Her friendship and willingness to help me develop my photography skills have been such a blessing to me.
Megan and her husband have the most adorable family, so I jumped at the chance to do a session for them! Megan also did a family session for us and I know I will love every single image!
Look at this adorable family!

Ok, I better stop here! This may be my longest post yet, but I can’t help it….this is one good looking family!! Thank you so much for the opportunity Megan! I hope you like these enough to do this again:)!
Another one of my favorite families! I always enjoy taking these cute kiddos pictures and this time was no exception! Nancy was actually one of the first people who ever asked me to take a family photo. About two years ago, before I had ever thought of pursuing photography, she asked me to take some photos of her, Clint, and Jacob. I did (they were technically terrible) and designed them a Christmas card. I should really look and see if I still have that card saved on my computer and show you all….just for the sake of progress:)
